Terms of Use
Last updated
These terms apply to healthshoplab.com, the home of the Hallie Brooks blog (the “site”). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. Who runs the site
The site is operated by {{NOME_DA_EMPRESA}} (“we,” “us”). “Hallie Brooks” is the pen name the blog is written under. You can reach us at halliebrooks@healthshoplab.com.
2. What this site is
A personal blog: reflections on Scripture, and notes on evenings, home, food, gift ideas and products. Everything here is general information and personal opinion. It isn’t professional advice of any kind, whether medical, mental health, legal, financial or pastoral. For decisions in those areas, talk to a qualified professional.
If you try a recipe or a home project from the site, check the ingredients for allergies, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety warnings for any product or tool.
3. Reviews, sponsored posts and affiliate links
- Reviews are honest opinions, and each one says what worked and what didn’t. Experiences vary, so yours may be different.
- Sponsored posts. If a brand pays for a post, sends a product for free or gives anything else of value, the post says so clearly at the top. On Facebook and Instagram, those posts carry the platform’s paid-partnership label.
- Affiliate links. Some links are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Posts with affiliate links say so before the first link. Commissions never decide what gets recommended.
- Buying from retailers. We don’t sell products on this site. Prices and availability change, and the retailer’s site is what counts. Any purchase is between you and the retailer.
4. Scripture and illustrations
Scripture quotations are from the King James Version (KJV), which is in the public domain in the United States. The illustrations on this site are AI-generated for the blog, and the site says so.
5. Sharing and copying our content
Unless noted otherwise, the text and design of the site belong to us. You’re welcome to share links to any page, and to quote short excerpts with credit and a link back. Please don’t republish whole posts, or use our content commercially, without our written permission.
6. Using the site
Please don’t use the site to break the law, don’t try to disrupt it or reach parts of it that aren’t public, and don’t copy it in bulk with automated tools.
7. Messages you send us
Please don’t email us sensitive information, such as health or financial details. We won’t publish your name, your email address or your message without your permission. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle what you send.
8. Links to other websites
We link to other websites we think are useful, but we don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, products or policies.
9. Disclaimers
We work to keep the site accurate and up to date, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the site or its content.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss that results from using or relying on the site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited by law, or any consumer rights that can’t be waived.
11. No affiliation with Meta
This site isn’t sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook or Instagram.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of {{FORO}}, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
